Have been to Wal-Mart, Foodcity, and IGA and they only have a small supply of Purina. What is going on? Been To Pikeville, Williamson, and Logan, other places and can't find a 40-50 lbs bags. They only have 4, 8, and 17.6lbs. Is anyone else running into this problem?

I heard Purina was raising prices so Wal-Mart stopped buying it. I don't know about the other places that sell it.

Was in two different Wal-Marts yesterday and neither one had the large bags of Dog Chow.An employee told me that Purina was trying to raise the price and put it in a smaller bag and Wal-Mart wouldn't go for that deal. The guy told me they had been in negotiations with Purina and had gotten a deal worked out and it would be back on the shelf in a couple of days.
I've fed Purina for 40 years and have always liked it but they better be carefull and not try and screw folks by jacking the price and shrinking the size [going from the 50 lb. to 44 lb and costing more ]. there are too many other brands on the market and i might have to try one of them.

I went to Petsmart and they still had all the purina products except hi-pro which they quit making it.The largest Pro plan bags they had were 35 and 37 lbs at nearly $30 a bag.
