My wife left me a note this morning, had planned to go hunting when I got home from work, " love you honey, happy hunting"... Figured she's up to something or wanting something

... so when she got home I had her something waiting in the kitchen sink... 5 skinned rabbits to cut up...

... she seemed not to impressed...

Patch, sounds like you've been gettin ideas from Ralph Pearson on how to treat the Misses. Ain't nobody treat a wife better than the way Ralph treats Nary May. I wish OL' Ralph would chech in sometime, I would like to her what he's doin for V-day. I'ts been a long time but if I remember right, he'd just bought Nary May a new wheel barrow so she would'nt have to carry the wood down the hill. Now thats love.

I remembered to get the Valentines card and she did for me. She is responsible for trialing our Champion Boone. She deserves more than a card but my allowance won't permit that. Oh well, I THINK she appreciates the card.

A bag of Werthers, eh? You did better than me, you ingrate. You know what I got? Take alllll the hearts and flowers in the world.........and get rid of 'em....and that's what I got.
I’ve been sleeping a thousand years it seems
got to open my eyes to everything
without a thought without a voice without a soul
don't let me die here
there must be something more
bring me to life.
