Here's a pic of one of the swampers we took next to a cottontail. Love walking up and picking up one of these.

I know the feeling but I didn't get to make my anual trip to Mississippi this year to hunt swampers.

just can't wait to try after one of those monster bunnies. I am planning my first Swamper hunt ever. I hope that I can post a picture of one after the hunt. Thanks for the picture.

Went again today with some old school friends. Scenting was awful, but still managed 4 swampers. No pics cause these guys clean them in the field.

Man those are big rabbits! how do they taste compared to a cottontail?
