As a youngster back in late 60/early 70 we would go to Canton Ohio and it seemed like miles of dogs and traders. I wished there was something like this in Eastern KY, Eastern Tenn, W.Va , Virginia or somewhere. I am having it tough shopping for beagles online. I have had some good conversations with some contacts. But i would like any info on any events or slaes like this.

I went to Silvercreek's picnic a few years back, Its a good time. It is mostly SPO, but there are plenty of dogs, pups, FOOD, and people. They have grounds there for running potential buys. There are people from everywhere. They also have nice raffles going on. Not junk, good stuff. Did I mention FOOD. I think more clubs should have get togethers like this.

Kenton Nationals is not still going strong. At least not compared to what it once was. They dont even have the coon dog trials there anymore. Its just a big flee market with a few concerts thrown in. It is still held on Labor Day weekend. There's still plenty of vendors, but I dont think they let you trade guns anymore. I went there and used to sell meat processing equipment, but havent been back in 2 years. Its still fun if you like to camp. Spend all weekend walking up and down the rows trying to find what you're after, and then light the fire at night and suck down some suds.
Hee's a link to their site:
