dan. ive been feeding a feed called ole yeller. i get it at jay-c food store in bedford. i compare it too dog chow in quality and the dogs love it. its only 14 bucks for a 50lb bag. sometimes its on sale for 12 a bag. grabers hunting supply there outside loogootee was supposed to try and get it and start selling it. theres been alot of folk around here go to it cause of outrageous dog food prices. i will never buy purina dog food of any kind again. ive been in there pro club for years, bought dog chow and hi pro for years. when they raised there prices and went from a 50 or 55lb bag of dog chow to a 44 lb bag in the walmarts and other places and still raised there prices to 20 bucks or more per bag, i was done. i used my last two purina checks and bought two bags of hi pro and i will buy no more. I swear by ole yeller and have told many about it!!!!

Why no luck with Pride?
I can probably save you $5 a bag on Pride or Sportmix. 24/20 or 26/18.

I buy Sportmix, 24/20, by the palet (20 bags) and it stills costs me $23.25 per 50 lb. bag. But, the dogs love it and they do extremely well on it. Yea, the dog food prices keep going up and gas/fuel keeps going down, you go figure.

Jeff, ive heard some things about him and his prices. i think he has lost alot of business, i dont know how he stays open but he does. if a guy buys a pallet or at least a whole lot of bags then you may get a better deal through him. last i bought was some jh best and it has gone up since then (3 weeks ago). i dont know if he has gotten the ole yellar in or not.

Ring,Jon, and Foxxy and whoever else in the immediate area that might interested in Pride. I buy my feed at Bertrams feed and supply in Winslow and they treat me great. If you guys want to go in on a pallet of (it can be mixed so you can get what you want) I can get a pretty fair deal on it. I will check on the price per bag for sure and post it

I've called Grabers to price their feed and they are higher than every where else for every brand I priced.

wardog,,,,,,,the dog food jon is talking about the jh best is a good food but in the last 5 months it has gone up almost 9 bucks a bag,,,,,,i guess these prices might not be bad if we only had 1 hound but most of us have at least 3 or more,,,,,he is high on everything he has in his shop,,,,,if you are interested in going in on the food that briarcreek is talking about ill help get it to you if your not far away,,,,,,,

Jon,
I have feed Sportmix 24/20 for the past year and my dogs have done well n it. I also fed the Pride for 3 years before I switched to Sportmix due to their price jumping so drastically. I always buy it by the ton and split it with my cousin. I used to buy the Peide from some great folks in Winslow until they quit handling it. I guess the Bertrams are who took over their dealership for the Pride. I love the feed but it's such a distance for me to travel, plus hauling a ton.
