Keeping Them Alive

I am suppost to be haveing a litter of pups at the end of January or the begining of Febuary i was wandering what the best way to keep the puppys warm and alive in the cold winter months. Thank You

HEAT LAMP ON THERMOSTAT ABOUT 86 DEGREES. THATS WHAT MY VET TOLD ME . I HAD A LITTER LAST FEB. SEEMED TO WORK WELL.IF NO THERMOSTAT 200 WATT LAMP WILL HEAT A MEDIUM SIZE DOG HOUSE WITH A COVERING ON DOOR.AT LEAST IT DOSE MINE.GOOD LUCK WITH THEM.

The last "winter litter" of pups I had I brought my female inside the garage. Built a 4 panel portable kennel with a raised plywood floor, put the heat lamp to them and they did great. Keep them warm, dry and out of the wind, they'll do great.

i know the breeding on these mitchell u probably wont lose any of them mutts seem to make it thru anything lol!!!!! :D
