Remedy for Mange, including {Red Mange} the worst kind.

Mix a batch that is 75% Sulfur and 25% Mineral Oil - It don’t matter how big or small the batch is, as long as the % stay the same. 75% Sulfer and 25% Mineral Oil.

That simple! Rub it on the dog and leave it. {Do not wash it off} - Do this every other day for 14 days and it will be gone!

Many products are out there that cost a lot of money that are made just like this, you can make your own. NuStock {considered by many to be the best} is made with 73% sulfur, 25% mineral oil, and 2% pine oil. The pine oil is for the smell {it stinks real bad!} The extra 2% of Sulfur and leaving the pine oil out, works just fine.

I knew a guy that took Bag Balm and mixed Sulfur with it the same way, he said it worked great.

Kessler told you right. I use the Nustock for any skin ailments and that stuff is absolutely amazing. It not only works fast but helps grow back hair. Jeffers sells it and it is something that I will always have in my vet supplies.

I think that is all a waste of time! I tried the sulfer bath, etc....then went straight to ivomec!!! Cleared it up quick!

the nustock works great for mange and hot spots.my grandad always covered the dog with used motor oil every day for week or so and it works to

thanks guys ill try anything. ive been doing the ivomec for a month now and his hair is starting to come back.

I tell ya boys nothing will break your heart like a young dog with mange or skin ailments. I get no kick backs from NuStock, but i will tell ya...straight up...this sh#t works and it is not expensive.

I agree.

This stuff will knock ringworms out in no time on a dog too.

They sell it in a big tube like toothpaste now and alot easier to use.

Not to sound like a wise guy, but I hope that there are no breeding plans in the future for these pups with this mange. Just about every book on the subject claims it (red mange) in pups is a imune issue that is passed on through the parents, and pups who have it should not be bred as it will, and can continue to be passed on. It is a result of a weak imune system. It can be cured on the outside with many of the above mentioned treatments, but the gene on the inside cannot be fixed. Many manges are from a skin parasite and can be taken care of forever, just make sure of the type that youe pups have. I have not heard of this many cases of mange since first having a hound (1981). Its sort of scary to hear more and more of these cases. I hope breeders take more responsability when hearing of a litter of pups they bred show up with this. I wish you all good luck with this problem, and hope you all keep us posted on this matter, as it can get expensive for some.

I agree with Rick. An old man told me once,it's in the blood.Can control on the outside.But no cure.

weve got him taken care of now...he is better and has his hair back..plan on takin him out soon...

Tell it like it is Steve. From what I have gathered over the years and having vet friends I agree. If a dog has red mange yet is able to overcome it that's really a plus to me. What about the ones that have not been stressed and have not had red mange? Is their immune system strong enough to handle it? Which ones are they? We can't know all that. I have one right now that one vet told me to kill, another said "don't you kill that dog". I treated him with Ivomec. He's fine and has never had another problem. To me he has a strong immune system. He was stressed and had mange before I bought him. The only hair he has lost since is from the briars pulling it out and wearing it off while running rabbits.
