I just got back from winerizing my cottage on Drummond. We got 8 inches of snow Wednesday night

with more to come tonight. I wish I could have taken some hounds but with deer season in full swing, I didn't want to chance it.

Hey Chuck,
Saw last night where the snow machine had kicked in, predicted 6". What's the total?
Gonna try another trip in Dec. if'n I can get someone to ride shotgun for me.
I'd give a free 3 day hare hunting trip to Drummond, if someone bought these 2 Horn X Lucy male pups. All they'd need to buy is a 3 day hunt permit and help do some driving, I'd take care of food , lodging and gas. Hows that for a deal?
Hows the 2 male pups you got doing?

I haven't talked to my brother yet to see what they got last night so I'm not sure on the total amount of snow. I am going to try a trip in Dec. also. I'm just not sure when. The two pups are doing Great

I can't wait for the deer season to get over with so I can start running them more.
Guy's If the Horn X Lucy pups Charles is selling are anything like the two pups that are in my kennel that I got from Charles, You can't go wrong. Plus the 3 day trip to the Island, you really can't go wrong.
Charles, Let me know when you are planning the trip and I will try to be there at the same time.

Charles, a few of us are gonna try and head up the first week in December, provided there isnt 20 inches of snow this time...Hey Reddog, have they closed the roads and groomed the snowmobile trails yet?? When they do, we lose access to a LOT of the island.

Well, here in Greenville, we have NOTHING...not even a dusting left. Kinda disappointing. Looking forward to the end of gun deer season so I can get the hounds back out.

Tony, we got about 8 to 10 inches yesterday, 12-01-08, here in Newberry there is close to 2 feet, very unusual for this early in the year. I talked to my family in the Soo and they only got about 2 inches so hard to say what the island got. Usually they don't start grooming the snowmobile trails until after muzzle loader season which runs from the 5th thru the 14th this year but they could. Earl

A group of us are heading up on Dec 19th. Really looking forward to the running. I really don't care how much snow there is, as long as there is a little break for the hare to get their trails run in. I figure if the hare can run in it, the dogs better be able to as well. Brian.
