Dry Ears

About 2 weeks ago my dog developed an ear problem. It happened just a day or two before I had her spayed at the vet. They put her on antibiotics for 14 days and it seemed to clear up some but she has completed the medication now and she still has dry skin on the inside of her ear. It looks like really dry almost scaley skin on the inside of her ear. Not the ear canal but the underside of her ear. It doesn't seem to bother her but something is not normal. She has been on the same food since I got her 6 months ago. The only thing that has changed is about a month before this starting I put fresh straw in her house for the upcoming winter months but I didn't notice this problem until several weeks later.
Has anyone ever had this problem and what did you do about it. Thanks.
