carhartt coat

does any one know were a guy could buy the old carhartt coat thats got the wool linning with the game bag that snaps on the back ? cant find on any were. would even buy a good used one if i could find one.... if any one knows were i could get one please let me know. thanks for any info.

The people at Carhartt told me, that they no longer make a coat with a gamebag.

I have the coat you're talking about. I've had it for 15+ years. Still rough and tough as the day I bought it. I don't think Carhartt makes coats as tough as they use to.

they are not as good as they used to be i wear one out every few years they use to last me till i grew out of them

I was told a couple of years ago that Carhart quite making all their hunting clothes. Includes the coat you are describing and the excellent brush pants they used to make.
Don't know why...I always preferred their stuff to anything else.

You're right. I also have a pair of briar bibs from carhartt that I've had almost as long as the coat.

You may want to give Mule clothing a try if you cannot find what you are looking for. Very tough, and very reliable.

Guys I got a Carhart coat like that, I have'nt use in years. It's big man size, 4XL. If anyone needs it let me know. The price of a good box of shell nowadays $25+shipping.

he got his coat cheaper then 25 probably sent to him shells cost no more then $10 around here dont know were you live but not no 25

I thought that price was reasonable for this, if not make an offer. Good high brass around here is 13-15/box :angry: , hoping I could get a leg-up on two boxes :biggrin:
