Well to me I ve got all the dogs I want.I would give him away. But if I really wanted to give it a try.Chain him up at the door were you and the rest of the house hold stays and tell every body they got to pet the pup before entry. This is the best way I have seen.If no change in 3 weeks. Then give him away.

Lots of love and affection. Like Jude said, let children play with it if there are any around. I let my grand children play with all my pups.

When you get a chance, take it a ride in your vehicle. Let it set up front with you on your lap and just talk to it and pet it. Have did this twice and worked both times.

i got him yesterday he wasnt even lead broke. I tied him out and played with him all morning and now he will atleast lead and will stand and let me pet him without laying down. He is an all branko pup that is bred very very well and i drove 2 and a hailf hours to get him so I dont want to just give him away.

I have a Branko female that acts shy in the kennel, in fact she won't come to the door of the kennel unless she sees me with a lead strap but when she is out of the kennel she is all over me. When I want to get her out I just pick up a lead strap and say "let's go" and she will come to me. In fact I have seen several Branko dogs act shy in the kennel.

i brought one home from the world hunt, same thimg 6 months old,had no name, i dont think he even knew what a human was.he would not let me near him.after afew days of feeding him i would bring him in at night and let him sleep in my bed with me.that lasted for just a few days, then he started getting comfortable.same thing i would go for rides and let him sit up front and just try to show him some attention and it worked.turned out he can run the heck out of a rabbit and handles great. good luck

Like Yellow said Tie him out, but make sure the chain is short. Rub his head and talk to him when you feed. He should come around.

i took him out this evening with my older dogs just to let him run around when it came time to leave he came back with them and layed down about 10 feet from me. I think he will be ok considering her hasnt been hardly touched in 6 months.
