i like a fast dog i had a weedeater breed jip is this a trait of most of those dogs also what other crosses produce fast dogs

The fastest dogs that I have seen on a rabbit that could at least control it a little were of the breeding that I have listed below. Most super fast dogs that I have seen were also super rough and struggled on a twisting turning rabbit and were always guessing where the check was which made them a mediocre hound anywhere other than a place like booneville IN.
New City Breeding , Branko and Turbo breeding have produced some hounds that had extreme foot that could hold on to it in a decent manner.

Big Meadows dogs, I have two pups that pound the rabbits with ex. speed with good line control and ex. hunt at only 8 mos old Highly reccomend these dogs

I believe Farrell {weadeater}bred to fareast luke the drifter before and man would i take one of those,i only watched him run one time but that time i would have to say he was in my top 5 hounds i have ever watched run.

If you want speed and control, get a good Awful Bawlin dog. If you want speed and a very competitive, front running dog, find some old bred Crain red dogs. The old Crain dogs are NKC reg only. If not being akc reg isn't a problem and you want the best of both worlds, send me a pm

i have alot of striker & shaker blood they have plenty of foot also.

The old Beaver Pond Beaver dogs had foot, Schnapps, Colby Hill, Paycheck and birch Lake all Northern michigan Hare association type dogs

ive runsome but not all bloodlines ogemaw casey lines are fast and no quit. im n process of out crossing on my tubro females with casey lines now dont know what ill get?
