Howdy fellas
Im new to the forum here and been reading from a lot of you.
Figured its time to say Howdy and introduce myself.
I have hunted with beagles many years ago back when I was a teen
and loved every minute of it. But I went the way of Coon Hounds
and stuck with it untill about 3 1/2 years ago, I lost my left leg (amputated).
Im now in the process of getting back to my first love and thats rabbit
huntin. Sure glad I found this place and hope to learn more the when I
hunted with my beagles 40 years ago .
Im just getting back to this again and cant hardly wait to get going again

Drifter Im in Central FL about 60 miles north of
Orlando in Lake county FL Out in Gods country
Very close to the Ocala National Forrest .. 5 miles
from my front door.
Anyone know of a Beagle club down here ?

From one Southerner to another, WELCOME! You've fooled with coon dogs so your ahead of most folks getting into beagling or back into it. Find the style dog you like (there several out there and as you've read we don't agree on which is the best) and after you find what you like, DON'T WORRY ABOUT WHAT OTHERS THINK! If you like it, RUN IT!!

I know the coon dog world is just as competitive if not more. There's a lot of $$$$ in those dogs.
