Man it's out there... they're ringing my phone off the wall. I just sold my last one (that I wanted to sell) wish I had a dozen more. My buddies up in Hickory with dozens to sell are probably like they won the lottery.... thanks Windkist... What'd you say you'd take for LucyMae, Toby? $65? ;)

It saddens me to see this. If we start cranking out puppies just to meet the fad demand, then we've just joined the ranks of PMs.

maybe I can help taking orders for beagles-- stuffed beagles for sale they will sit on the couch, will not shed or poop on the floor, no shots required, don't need feed. pull string and he will bark. sorry he want run a rabbit,so you dont have to worry if he is to fast or slow, he will swing if you put him on a string, will not back track, not much of a jump dog but you can throw him around, he is good with children. for the low-low price of a dollar two ninty-eight correct change only.

There are good buyers out there. Doesn't mean they may not get tired of the dog. You can't tell no matter how hard you try. I know of one I sold that the girls got tired of, but they gave it to a hunter not the dog pound. I'm happy to say most pet pups I have sold could not be bought for any sort of reasonable price. And if they do want to bring one back I'll take it. All my running hounds are guaranteed to suit from now on or your money back. Never had one come back yet. They all get sold for more than I charged for them I guess.

Look at it this way, there is a demand for pet pups. Beagles are hot right now, I think that is a good thing not a bad thing. It not Beagles they would be buying something else. But I guess you (Bev) are sad about the puppy mill thing. Hey we all are. Pet shops too. But good buyers/owners and good pet Beagles are... well, about as good as it gets.

*Whew* I'm slow on the uptake sometimes, wv. I think it's the blonde -- even if it comes from a bottle (in these days of emerging grey). :shhh:

Toby, Upchurch and I ran Monday at Tuck, ran hard and believe it or not, pretty steady. I went back by myself today and had good running. It's closed after tomorrow for a week. After that, shoot me an email. If you lose the girl friend who keeps the dog?
