witty wing vs Alswamper

Post by DDWBeagles »

[quote="Now i think that is just as low down as it gets, Alswamper just happens to be my good Rebel buddie . For any body to come on here and acuse him of ever being smart is just a down right lie.
Crazy yes. But he just happens to be stupid also, Now in his defence the only thing slow about my buddie is his dogs....[/quote]

Has nothing to do with that topic, although I found the humor entertaining. I did want to mention that WingPatch's remarks were sarcasticly witty and packed with laughs. That was great. For my old buddy Bowhunter59, I believe it was Mark Twain who once said, "Tis better to remain sillent and appear a fool, than open mouth and remove all doubt". :hammer:

Dogs don't have to look good to win tittles, but conformation "enhances their chances"!

DANG, how many people is there that know bowhunter59. I thought Ted Peercy was the only friend he had. Oops, its the other way around. Sorry Bowhunter.

As for wingpatch, he likes to talk trash from 600 miles away. My peanut pushers would love to take on them patches. I figure every 10 yards or so his will be overrunning the rabbit and mine will be there to keep it going, right on their heels. By the time that day is done, them patches will be begging to go home.

Remember guys, cheaters never win and winners never cheat. Bowhunter, Ted and wing should tell their dogs that.
"No stronger bond exist than that between a man and his dog."

I think you are one fine young feller, And there is nothing i would like more than to see them dogs of yours follow a rabbit track.
I did not realize we were that close to each other, Why dont you go ahead and let your dogs go and i will leave Mo., Now i am getting kinda old and drive like an little old lady so it will take a little while. But i should be there before they make a complete circle.
Them little buggers seace to amaze me how worked up they get fellowing a rabbit track knowing very good and well they dont have a chance to catch it. See you soon enough .....Wingpatch

words of wisdom

Now to really confuse you. I signed on as Bsbowhunter instead of DDWBeagles. Anyway, now that's straight, let's get to the good stuff.

Bowhunter59, I have to admire your courage. My comments were in jest and I enjoy life too much to take any of this too seriously. However, I would like to mention, that your response about my intelectual aptitude only adds fuel to the fire. Try spell check :bash: , before insulting someone else's intelligence. In reality, the fact that my screen name was similar to yours was one of the reasons I changed mine. Folks were getting us confused. Now that may come as a compliment on your side and should (grin), but I wanted the rest of the world to know, that this Virginia country boy could at least spell most of his words right :haha:
Now with that being said, I'm not taking sides and only made the original post because I admired Wingpatch's witty remarks. It's good to laugh and even in this thread, he is getting ole Alswamper pretty good. Afterall, don't we do the same thing when we run with friends. If their dogs are swinging real bad, running too mouthy or god forbid, take off on trash, we rib our partners pretty bad and receive the same treatment in return. It's one of the things I enjoy about the sport. Anyway, I'll run my pot lickers with any of you guys and have a good time. When mine screw up, bust on me, but expect the same in return. That's what it all about isn't it?

seriously speaking,,,,, youse wabbit guys must be very different from dose duck guys i have spent time with. this is my third year with a duck dog,,,, and i hung out with a couple o guys with duck dogs for a couple of years before i got mine,,,, let me tell ya,,, seems to me if ya wanna pee off a lab owner quicker denchit, talk bad about his retriever. now you can rag the guy on his shooting as much as you like, but if you talk bad about his retriever,,, it's like telling a fella that his first born is a moron,,, and he was countin on him gettin a scholarship.
