Im new to the baord but I am from Louisiana and they have alot of SPO dogs down here. Black creek is a realy good line running dog but I find they do realy well when they are crossed with Gay Baker or JO JO Blue. It gives them a good bit more hunt. The Gay Baker hounds have plenty of hunt and also run a good line.

I like the Little Man dogs but don't knock the other lines. I have had good luck with these dogs with hunt, desire, confomation, line control, brains, and stamina. Trial one day, hunt the next type dogs.

As with all lines, there are good and bad from bloodline to bloodline and breeder to breeder. Some breeders will look for different things in a line and build on it, others are just breeding and selling a name. Before you settle, see as many bloodilines AND different breeders of these bloodlines that you can. Take your time, there are plenty to choose from.

I should aslo add that there are faster and slower, cleaner and ruffer in the same bloodline from breeder to breeder and sometimes cross to cross. For example just cause you look at a Little Man dog from Joe Blow in NC that runs a med slow hound doesn't mean they are all med slow. Jack Dohicky in PA might like em faster and on the edge. Like I said, each breeder will look for what they like in the bloodline and build on it so the line can vary from kennel to kennel
Good luck and I hope you find what you are looking for.

Check out the dogs that are being run in the area you hunt.Take notice if multiple types of rabbits are living in your hunting area and makes sure you judge for yourself whether are not these hounds can do a equal job of chasing multi types to the gun. This can only be done in the rabbits natural habit in the wild.
