I have a 2 year old female she has been gunned over and field trailed. She even has a couple of wins on her. But last night when we were running my older dog struck in and started moving then my soon to be 2 year old got to her and struck in. While the 2 other dogs took 10 seconds or so to get it moving I saw Jill she was standing 15 ft from me in the field she was about 40 yards from the other dogs. When they barked she looked in that direction when they took off with it she just stood there never went to them. I can't figure out what is up why did she not go to them. Even though it was windy she had to hear them because I did. Has anyone had this happen. Any one have some thoughts of what to do.
Thanks
Nathan

Has she ran at night before? Had she been running and maybe was exhausted? Is she normally a very competitive hound? Maybe she was ill if that is out of character for her.

Is it maybe time for her to come into heat? Makes my gyp do uncharacteristic things.
