Well, Ryan (aka BrewerMO) and I tempted fate and hazardous road conditions today to try and run some MO cottontails. Leaving at 5:30 am and a short 126 mile drive from my place to where we were to run, I got there to find rain, and lots of it. Ryan and I sat in the trucks for about 30 minutes, trying to escape out and get started once but being turned back by that blasted rain.
It finally lets up enough for us to try and do some running and not get soaked within 5 minutes. When we got into the brush/woods, we found everything coated with ice (big surprise) and what little snow that was on the ground barely made a dent when the dogs ran across it. This certainly would be a tough day of running.
It was almost 1:00 pm when we left and we only ran one rabbit and never did get sight of it. I guess that is why they call it hunting and not shooting.

I still had a better time than if I would have stayed at home.
Be ye kind one unto another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32
