is it legal to shoot albino's in indiana,,,,,,

yes jeff it is legal, there was a couple killed down at potoka a few years ago. there fair game.

i got a pic of one this morning,,,,,,came in about 200 yards,,,

Is it a true albino or a pie bald?

albino,,,,she looked kinda thin and mangy,,,,,,,or i guess it was a doe,,,

if you look at the white deer in the back ground in the brush there looks to be something else white couldnt tell very good they were there just for a minute,,,,,,

That is cool.............I would take her if given a chance.

a true albino will have a pink nose n pink ears white hoofs n red eyes all others are piebalds my son killed a nice piebald a few years ago i seen it the first morning n came back to our camp n told everybody bout me seeing they bout laughed me out of the camp said i was having flash backs next morning my son shot it then the next year my bro shot a piebald too their pretty i got my sons a shoulder mount n had the hide tanned my bro had a full body mount their a beautiful animal good pic ringtail jb

I have never seen one in the woods. But there was one checked in opening weekend here in southcental Indiana.
Ronnie Hubert has a full body mount of one he killed a few year ago. I think he got it at Patoka. It sure is beutiful.I have always wanted to harvest one. But they are few and far between.

It's like where I live, in one spot on the Island, where we ran a field trial in the Spring, there are some completely black snowshoe hare. The pack was running one and they must have a tremendous amount of scent.. the gallery and the judges could not believe that they were running this hare. And found it to be a special treat to ever see one, as they have been beaglers for a long time obviously. Anyhow, the hounds ran it for about 4 hours to exhaustion, and it died. One of my buddies took it and is having it stuffed. But they are predominant in that particular area.

That deer is still on the teet, why anyone would even consider shooting one that small whether albino, piebald or whatever is beyond me.

How do you figure it is still on the teat based on that pic????? Looks like a doe to me. Maybe you're an expert at telling deer from pics taken at 200 yards.

no arguement please but if that is an adult doe I want the monster doe behind it. I am all for killing anything you eat. I have killed rabbits smaller than that albino ha ha

i dont even know that its a doe it might be a button buck ,,,but come to think of it i did see it toting a baby bottle,,,,,i wouldnt of shot it if i wasnt a young one it looked mangy to me,,,,,,now if the ole girl wouldnt of spotted me i would of left a mark on her,,,,,i think the reflection off of the camera spooked them,,,,,,
