Has anyone used this feed? If so, what formula and how did your dogs do on it? It is made in Evansville, IN and it is now available at a feed mill in my town?

Thanks, Brian

I think pro pac is made by Sportmix, it's a better grade of their feed from what I remember.
We're going back to Sportmix as Pride has outgrown our pocketbook... :(
I think this, with roadkill along with the culls with champeens in the pedigree should get us through the winter... ;)

I just switched from Diamond to Pro Pac a couple weeks ago and so far no complaints. I believe it is 25/16. S.R. Patch is right. It's made by Sportmix and is the better grade. If I could of bought Sportmix that day that is what I would have got.

S.R. Patch,
This is the first bag of Pro Pac I have tried. I quit the Diamond after about 4 or 5 months. Couldn't keep any weight on the dogs. A friend of mine swears by Sportmix. I believe he uses the 24/20. He's getting ready to order a ton, so it should be available to me soon. He uses it for rabbit dogs and coon dogs.

I have been feeding sportmix 24/20 since early summer, went to it from
diamond. Consistently all the dogs seem to be doing better, coats look
good and they can run all day. I have 19 dogs, largest is 80 pound shepherd mix, middle are the curs coming in at45 to 65 pounds, little
are the beagles coming in around 20 lbs, all are doing freat on the sportmix, i highly recommend it....

I've been feeding it for 10-15yrs or more and the 26/18 beats the best of feeds and it could be fed to pups. The high protien is a good summer feed less fat, dogs switch without trouble.less stool to clean with Sportmix feed,It also was one of the only feeds not affected by the bad feed problem.diamond gave my hounds the runs.

I tried Pro Pac 26/15 in the red bag towards the end of the summer. Paid $23 for 33lbs and have to admit I was pleasently surprised by the results! It's hard to come by in my area, so I don't feed it on a regular basis, but would have no hesitations in ever recommending it. The coats it gave were unbelieveable - I have one bitch who tends to get a dull coat ... she never looked so good!
