Last year it started on Oct. 14th. We got 10"... The last snow of the season was on April 20th.. We got 12". You just never know from day to day what your going to get. I just hope it gets real cold fast, and the Lake freezes. Once the Lake freezes the snow will stop...

Paul I am glad that is you and not me, I don't like the snow as much as you get up there.Be careful going back and forth to work, I know your wife will be fine in the Hummer.

Here we go... Todays weather

ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE BETWEEN 6 & 8 INCHES ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF ASHTABULA AND ERIE COUNTY(PA). THE IMMEDIATE LAKE SHORE WILL SEE ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES TONIGHT.

TOTAL STORM ACCUMULATIONS BY WED MORNING WILL RANGE FROM 6
TO 10 INCHES ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE COUNTY.

A FEW RUMBLES OF THUNDER MAY ACCOMPANY THE MOST INTENSE SNOW BANDS. THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL RESULT IN BRIEF PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW.

THE COMBINATION OF THE HEAVY WET SNOW.WINDS AT 15 TO 25 MPH
WITH HIGHER GUSTS.& TREES LOADED WITH LEAVES WILL CAUSE TREE
LIMBS TO FALL FROM THE WEIGHT OF THE SNOW. MOTORISTS AND
PEDESTRIANS SHOULD BE ALERT THE POSSIBILITY OF FALLING LIMBS.
POWER OUTAGES HAVE ALREADY BEEN REPORTED FROM DOWNED POWER LINES FROM THE HEAVY SNOW.
