Looking for northway blooded studs. Most of my blood comes from FC white oak william henry.I have crossed this with a mikermas superdog and turbo breed female.I'm very pleased with the pups starting early and running to catch, also good mouth. My female pups will be breed on their 2nd heat.I would like to have time to veiw as many hounds as possible. I have always been a hunter, but am thinking about entering the trails.I guess I got the fever.

If I were you I would get up with either Dexter Reffett or Lynn Perkins. Dexter and Lynn both have a web-site you can look at. They have some of the best Northway blook in the country IMO and there are in your state. look for Ky Mtn kennels and Perkins Run_N_Gun Kennels on here and you will find out all you need to know. All of my full Northway males are young and only time will tell what they can become. But at 4 months old they have been running for 3 weeks and doing as nice of a job they can do for there age. Good Luck with you search.

Lynn Perkins' Buzzsaw is Northway Spur and Jumpmaster, a proven reproducer, all everything in the trials and a coal truck couldn't hold the rabbits shot in front of him. Besides, you are in Ashland and he is in Pike Co., less than 3 hrs away. I have a female out of him and she is built like a hoss and has more sense than any hound I ever had.

Eventually, I am going to have some Buzz blood in my kennel. Hopefully sooner than later. You won't find a nicer gentleman than Lynn Perkins and I have heard nothing but great things about Buzz from many differnet camps.

Good luck

I ran with a yearling male out of Buzz last night. He was out of aRoll on BuddyXBA black stingbitch bitch. Had extra hunt liked it in the thick stuff, good nose, got several checks, worked forward in the check area(not swinging) ran a good rabbit with decent foot.Just a good solid young male.

Paul Neel in Chesapeake has a male out of Northway Slim Jim that just finished for AKC Field Champion a couple of week ago. He has great hunt and lots of foot. He is a lemon and white, and i think he throws some lemon and white pups. The dogs name is Neel's Eli. He's the real deal, and only 30 minutes from you.

I want to thank everyone for the answers you gave me. I'll start looking at some of these dogs ,as soon as I can.I really like the look of the buzzsaw pup wouldn't mind having a few of those. I keep mostly females ,so I'll start looking at the pedigree's,too see what matches up.Again thanks for the help.Rick
