Pad Problem
I have a male that I have been doctoring for 2 weeks now. His pads are starting to heal but it seems like it is taking forever. Is this normal? Do some hounds have alot of problems with their pads all the time? Is it a genetic defect or is it pretty common? His pads seem to have the same texture as my other hounds. This is the first hound that I have had that had any problems at all with their pads.

I had a dog that had really bad pad problems before. He would keep chewing and licking on them and making them worse. I had to buy some of those little boot things for dogs to keep him from chewing on his feet. Once I got him from chewing and licking his feet it didn't take anytime for them to heal....
The Crank's may not have it all together, but when we're together we have it all....
