Oh Eddy he got you!!

I think he will have a dog or 2 at Marion so you may get your chance.
Good luck to both of you, or should I say all 3 of you now?

I heard they are predicting an "earthquake" in Marion. Is that right Ackermanich?

Is tuna really that slow fast eddy? We will have some fun soon buddy! I close on the house wednesday, and then i have three weeks to get the renovations done, and have my current house ready for the renter. So after the first of the month it will be all about the rabbits....i mean the tuna! I hope tuna is a fast learner, becasue he is going to get a quick lesson on turbo science. Then you could call him "fast tuna"....

I am friends with Eddy and Steve so my only interest is to watch the dogs run. I have emailed Ed a few times with questions about dogs and he has always given me good advice.

Considering Steve's dog is around 8 and I am guessing Eddy’s dog is less than 4 years old; I am interested to see how sport does against a dog that is half his age. Who ever wins or loses it is between Steve & Fast Eddy; its not going to influence my pack one way or the other.

To be fair Steve did write in the thread where this all started:

"We have to plan this for a week in September. I'm closing and have three weeks to get the renovations completed on the new and old house (for the new renters). That’s the only reason this female is for sale in this thread. "

For someone to be a no show there would have had to been a date set. I did not see a date set for the run.

Steve is moving and working on his new and old house so he can't run for at least a couple of weeks.

The thread has been entertaining and I hope they run soon.

Mr. Horn,

Read this link carefully before you talk about something you have no clue about! I'M BUYING A HOUSE THIS WEEK AND THEN HAVE THREE WEEKS TO RENOVATE, AND THEN HAVE MY CURRENT HOUSE READY FOR RENTER. I WILL BE READY TO RUN IN A FEW WEEKS.

yes, i have a dog named gator that had a heat stroke. I was running him solo when it happened. It was my fault not the dogs, i shouldn't of had him out there it was a very hot and humid day and after about 2 and ahalf hours of non stop running (the same rabbit) he collapsed. That sounds more to me like a dog that doesn't have any quit. Have you ever seen gator run? I have seen tuna run. Anyhow i only have one dog that has had a heat stroke , The other ones seem to be doing fine Like they always say you can tune a piano but you can't tuna fish

I enjoyed the other thread, you guys are serious. :D I would enjoy a big hunt though. Maybe we could get together for a big one in Marion. A few rabbits there and I like the flat land, the dogs can get a chance to get up and go. October would be sweet. If we got ten dogs together we could have a Big Pack Fun Hunt and start a club in Ohio. I might bring some young hounds, and one old one that is retired in big pack, he'd be runnin for fun.

Seriously running Big Pack can be a lot of fun, and you can keep all your bells and whistles on your hounds when you run Big Pack. 4 hours of runnin a minimum of 10 dogs no stops unless a hound goes out of bounds or is picked up by a judge. Anyone up for it. I know Sonny Broach of South Carolina would give us some help starting a club, but you have to have one fun hunt.

Duke,

Its not a serouis as it looks. It all started as fun and is going to end as fun.......We are going to get together and laugh about all of our comments/post and see some really good dogs run. I know eddy has some really nice hounds and i have been wanting to run with him for a while now. I've never seen Tuna run, but i heard he is the real deal!

I would also like to see old Dutch run. I have heard a lot of good stuff about him. Everyone seems to think that sport and dutch would be a nice pair to see together.

Eddy is a good guy who can get fired up quick, so take it easy on him guys!
