Line Control...

Currently i have dogs with plenty of line control. I'm looking for something with tons of foot (fair linecontrol i'd say given i'm looking for tons of foot)

Not to take away from the importance of line control, i'm planning to outcross whatever to something i currently have with plenty of line control....

Basically i'm looking for something that will consistanly produce footier style dogs while not comprimising my hunt and mouth.... Whatever i breed them to should tune line control....

Thanks,
Jack

Just My Opinion.

Jack , speed is like welfare checks in ky. The easiest thing in the world to get. I would look at rip for one " he is awful close to you" . I have never thought so highly of the striker blood-jmho, but monk has made some crosses that have changed my mind  . Bjk says he got controlled rage but pretty good haul to his crib..Chester males are in the mix as well. Without leaving anybody out and hurting feelings which i am great at. Whats wrong with bawls? Come to think of it there is at least 10 males offthe top of my head within 4 hours of you that can produce some great foot and cross well with strong bred bitches..If dexters dogs are what you are looking to breed to , hell man they are almost idiot resistant.
Dexter did his research in the day. Good luck dawg.

You might want to talk with Jim McGuire.
He has several dogs that have impressed me with the ability to stay on the line with good speed.

Nothing wrong with the old man at all... He has already produced (what should make for) some really nice hounds.... Actually planning a cross or 2 to him over the next year.... Crossing a Magic x Jumpmaster bitch to him soon....

Bawls is throwing alot of the same dog that i'm looking for, i'm just looking around for other potentail females to cross with him or males to cross his females too....

I have run some dogs of Mark (Bubba) Brown of Ohio this summer. He has Northway crossed with Pacesetter. I have been extremely impressed with their ability to pound a line, with a lot of foot. If a dog gets in front of them, they sit in there second or third, and then when the dog bobbles, they blow by them.

He finished a male in AKC this spring named Blazer that has a lot of foot. His dogs have good speed and they take pressure well--which I think is just as important or maybe even more so.

Jack, take a good bitch to FC Sullivan's Go Joe. I have heard nothing but good reports about his pups. I too want the same and will be breeding my bitch to him when she comes in. He ran with power and control. I will send you a picture of my Driver male, he too has produced some hard hitting dogs. Good luck with whatever you do. Chip
