7 MONTH OLD CAST WINNER!!!!!! LOL

Post by hillbilly »

Well i just had to post it and tell about a pup that is out of pine mt. scrubby dog that turned 7 months old on the 21st of this month i sold him to one of my best friends and he had never had beagle or rabbit hunted any but he got bit by the bug when his little dog that he fell in love with started running a rabbit the second time we took him out; about 2 months ago and he was really doing good for a pup and he has spent alot of time soloing him and taking him with my dogs, ever now and again and when i said something about going to a trial he said he wanted to go but was really leary about taking such a young dog to a trial... but he is glad he did now; after in the 1st cast he beat a dog of mine and a little pack rabbit champion that was also in the cast and just really done a great job and made his owner and breeder real happy.. this was a progressive pack trial at gillsville ga. today and he came in 5th out of 33 open dogs and also the congrats to the sorry scandral that won the trial my good friend Daniel Hill who won with blaze and came in 3rd with jessie the original 7 month old cast winner......... lol

 Thanks Hillbilly,
and congrads to u for the pup that u bred making the finals as well he is gonna be tough to beat with a little more time in him. But i don't want to take the credit for what my hounds accomplished today they deserve it not me for i am only as good as my hounds make me look ;) so with that note i want to say thank you to my two hounds that are litter mate sisters BLAZE and JESSIE for placing 1st and 4th and for giving me a memory that i will never forget.

i think the pup scored 40 points but he ended up with 3 or 4 checks to win the 1st cast.... they didn't have any runnin for the first 30 min in the second cast in the middle of the day (HOT!!!!) he got 2 checks and came in 5th in the cast of 6 dogs...... (just a pup) but we had a great time and hey thats what its all about.......

and ruffie ole scrubb is ready NOW for ole charley i really want you to see him run i have put alot of time in the briars with him this summer....

the dog that got picked up was running the rabbit. Her nose is just much bigger than any of the other dogs. That track may have been a couple hours old, but given more than four minutes, she would have had em up. congrats on your placement. Hope yall come back soon.

not trying to stir the pot but if a dog barks and cant produce in 4 minutes it cant live here ..i dont think it had to much nose i think it had to little brains..at that moment anyhow..
