West Georgia sure has been hit hard by this drought. The grass just isn't growing around here. I am going up to Western Kentucky this weekend to visit Mrs. Oakhill and TC/ JC. If any of you in the Owensboro area or along the rout back to Ga has any horse quality square bail hay for sale, send me an email with the type and price per square bail to SouthernBeagles@aol.com or call me at 770-748-0445. I will be looking for 25-50 bails.

I will be coming down the Pennyrile Pky to Nashville, to Chattanooga then south.and would be looking to pick up Sunday unless you are in the Owensboro or Evensville IN area I can come by Saturday.

PS Moderators, if it helps keep this add in this section so it can be seen, the hay is for my beagles. A dog has to eat ya know LMAO. J/K. Move it if ya need to but hopefully it will be seen first by someone along the way. ;)

Good luck with the hay. We lost 170 round bales in a recent fire including a 100 foot long building. This heat has made hay premium price its even bring 60-70 dollars a bale for round bales in lex ky. Most the hay is coming from ohio and even up there its very light. Gonna be a bad winter for us dum ol farmers..... Hopefully we can get 1 more cutting before oct.
Our pastures look good but we rotate cattle. I would gladly help if only i could .Good luck.. Go to http://www.creechbrothers .com maybe they can help.

Its bad here too, no 2nd cutting, hay prices have increased sixty some % (if you can find a seller) and farmers are liquidating livestock b/c of this. My uncle was telling me the other day about how he had to sell 50 some head back in the day when the same thing happened. Sad news...
