I have seen a bunch of 410's single shot and pump....

I would like to have a 410 semi auto put your three shells in and shoot away. Do they make them.......I'd like to get me one.

Anyone know how much they go for...$$$

my first shotgun was a mossberg bolt action that held three shells,i remember it like yesterday,i was 12,it was christmas day,my step dad and mom handed me a string they had strung through the house,i followed the string back in to my bedroom and there it was in the corner.

it was a real nice gun,killed a lot of rabbits and squirls with it.

I know remington has a 410 semi, Model 1100

yea Remington makes a super nice one in the 1100 model but depends on how much you want to spend..I can't find one under 750 bucks.

Remington 1100, I've seen some used for 350.00-400.00, but they go fast!

Remington makes one I was down at the gun shop asking about one and the guy said $900 brand new.

Saiga makes them. They are a copy of the operating system of an AK and I believe they are even magazine fed in case you need some Rambo Bunny Shootin' ':twisted:' All joking aside I have talked to two guys around here that use them and they work great, best part is they only cost around $150 brank new.

Danny - I have an old Mossberg 410 bolt action I recently inherited, that I love. It holds 3 shells & is super light. I don't know why no one makes a bolt action shotgun like this anymore. Its as light as a single shot but holds the 3 shells. It's also real easy to clean like a single shot. If Mossberg started making them again, I'd definetely buy a new one. I've always owned pump shotguns, but I'd prefer the 410 guage in bolt action, for a rabbit gun, over just about any other style, because of its weight & the easy maintenance.

Saiga is the actual brand of the shotgun. I have seen them in many local gun shops in Maine and I would assume any shop in your area could order one for you fairly easy.

Have had an 1100 for several years. It came with a modified vent ribbed "bird" barrel. Went on eBay and bought an used full choke barrel for it.
Works fine. Got to keep the gas action portion clean.

I also have an older Remington 11-48 .410 auto.
Have owned 2 of them. Sold one to my brother-in-law.
Spring operated. Much lighter than the 1100.

If you do find an 11-48, make sure it cycles properly. The barrel coming back on recoil cycles everything and, if used a lot, there could be wear on the receiver components and you might have a hard time finding replacement parts.

I got a pretty nice o/u for under $400. It's only 2 shots, but the 3rd shot is just a waste of shells with a 410.

I have a Remington 1100 .410 and I wouldnt own another brand of .410

The ejector is smooth as silk and I can rattle off all 4 shots in under a couple seconds.

I found mine 3 years ago from a local gun shop, someone had special ordered it and never picked it up. I paid $700 for it, and it has the engravings on the side of the magazine. Quail being flushed on one side, hounds jumping pheasants on the other. It is a sharp looking rabbit harvesting machine.

The new ones dont have the engravings but are still the best .410 semi's.

I would recommend spending the extra money and getting a Remmington.

I've talked to a half dozen guys who rabbit hunt with the Remington 410 auto and love them.

I own probably 8 - 870s and I have owned 2 - 1100s, one I still have. I have had issued with both 1100s cycling shells. I've had them professionaly cleaned and oiled and they jam within a box of shells. Maybe it's just bad luck, but it is my experience with them. That's why I shoot o/u now and I gave the 870s to my son.
