Who has the best box?

I am looking to get a new box in the next month or two. With both price and craftmanship in mind, who makes the best all aluminum box. I am looking for a box with storage and big enough to hold 3 - 4 basset hounds. I can ask any of the dealers who have the best box but I prefer opinions from people that actually use them.

I agree with Matt, the d-lux is what I have the 38" x 38" w/top storage. It has plenty of storage and enough room for 3 to 4 dogs per compartment and it can take a beating or at least mine did.

I like my owens dog box. I've had it for 3 yrs and had no problems with it.

I almost thought for a minute their you had stolen my pictures. Thats what I meant by taking a beating. I had mine go thru my back window back in april and I had a white Tacoma. Hope you are okay.

that was my dads truck, boy did that box beat the hell out of the inside of the bed when the tie down rings pulled loose

Well my truck was a regular cab so the back of my head stopped the box from going any farther.

A guy from around the Kentucky Lake area made mine for me. He can make whatever you want for your truck. Mine is 46"Wx38"Dx20"H. Has 4" of storage on top. It has a lock for the storage and vents on the side. I am extremely happy with mine. If I ever learn how to post pictures I'll put some up. I paid $240 for mine, picking it up myself. He's been building them for awhile and I have never heard of any problems.

I've got an Owens and it's a heck of a box, if I could do it again, I'd buy the same one!
