I am sure this has been asked before but since we are on the fantasy trial I want to see who people think are the top five producers of all time. I am new to the sport so I dont dare say. I haven't been around long enough to know things like that so give me your opinion

Pete would have to be one of the best. His influence carried a long way down the line.

I think Mt. Zion Pete is one of the best of all time, I heard this from a lot of expierenced beaglers. I have also heard Jack of All Trades is one of the best but he wasnt bred to a whole lot

Pete and Dingus both produced some really good hounds. But I don't figure they had the numbers due to the time frame of thier public service. Pete came in a time when he was used nearly exclusively Large Pack breeders as that was the only kind of trial that appreciated a good hunting type hound (1960's) Dingus was used a lot by the first SPO breeders nationwide during the late 70's and early 80's. BOTH would get a lot more play today and better thier numbers.

FC Dom's Dougie. Look in the pedigrees of the dogs running in NMHA. Dougie is in almost all of them
