Hate To be stupid BUT

Stupid is one that does not ask questions. Now remember I am new to this side of having beagles.
But what does a "walkie talkie dog" actually mean? I see the term used a lot and well...just have to ask.

A walkie talkie dog is one that is very slow on a line or unable to move a line consistently. They will stand in one spot on the line barking or take one slow step bark, one more slow step and bark. Some people prefer this type of hound some don't.

A walkie talkie is a dog that can run a rabbit all day long in the bed of a pickup truck.

Another fad gone bad. A hobby hound for those who put foot print tracking with extreem precision on finding & speaking into every track made by the game. If the hound cannot reach the next track with a streach of it's neck, it will "die beautifully" and anchor there in that spot & the walk is over.
Not a useful rabbit hound for game but does show how standard and selection of breeding pairs is used to reach & accomplish the goal...Patch
