Has anyone ever ordered from them and what has your experience been with the products they sell. Here is the website: http://www.pets-megastore.com.au/ They sell some products without a prescription that require a prescription in the US. Just trying to see if the products are genuine.

I have never ordered anything from them ,but might in the future.Wehave a big kennel and could probably buy $200 worth of frontline. That is pretty cheap compared to what we pay,and free shipping on big orders. I will probably order something small and brandname to see if everything is on the up and up.

I was really trying to make sure that their products are legitimate. I ordered some interceptor and received it today. It only took 5 working days to reach me. They sell some things without a prescription that we need a prescription for here in the states. Namely Heartgard, interceptor, drontal. I had my dogs checked for heartworms already, but the vet wants me to buy the interceptor from them or they will only write me a prescription for 6 months and then I will have to have the dogs checked again before renewing my prescription. I see this as a waste and a ripoff. My plan is to put them on interceptor and keep them on it year round and then I shouldn't need to do an exam every year. I can afford to do it ordering from these guys, but I just wanted to make sure they weren't selling a bogus product.

Big Dog: I replied to this already on the RHO board. The company is legitimate and I have been very happy with my orders. Unfortunately, I bragged on them and have become the "middleman" for beagle friends who don't have computers.

Big Dog, I too have used them now for over a year and am very happy with them. I dont know what product you're thinking of ordering but may I suggest taking a look at the Droncit kennel pack if you and your friends use it on dogs who eat rabbits....you can get them for $1.85 each instead of $5 the vet charges! I also order Interceptor from them and it has worked fine ;)

I have always been amazed how quick my order arrives! It comes in from Austraila with all the custom and tarriff stamps...in about 4-5 days top!

Been real pleased.

To KJohns Yes

To WSRAndy I ordered the Interceptor and will be ordering the droncit very soon. I only placed a small order to see what the service would be like and it was good. I got my stuff in 5 working days which is just as good as any company in the US. I really like being able to get Interceptor Droncit and drontal without a prescription. It will save me a lot of money in the long run.

Wow, those are indeed much cheaper prices than anywhere else I have seen...and no need for a prescription! However, I can still utilize Ivomec, Safe-Guard, Panacur, etc, cheaper than using the "canine only" wormers. Not trying to be a cheapie, but when you're keeping a kennel of hounds, one must save money where we can (and it dont harm our hounds!). I've been very successful utilizing the cattle/horse wormers in the past. What would be the advantage of using the canine wormers instead? Thanks.

I finally decided to give Drontal a try after hearing so many good things about it's effectiveness. And I placed an order with pet-megastore, just a small order to go one round with my hounds to see if their service was acceptable, being they are w-a-y overseas. I placed an order with them on the 21st for a pack of Drontal and my order arrived at my door on the 26th.....5 days....thats better service than I get from alot of companies here in the US and everything was in proper order with my shipment too. I will definately be using pet-megastore in the future, thats a big savings over having to get a prescription from my vet and paying office fees and the high price of the meds from here!

I have been using them and been really happy with their service. I buy drontal in a bigger volume and than split it with another fellow. It's cheaper that way.

I HIGHLY recommend their "All-Wormer" which is generic Drontal Plus. it seems to work just as good for HALF the price of their Drontal Plus. It cost me $1.60 per 10 kg (22 lb) pill including shipping the last time I ordered 40 of them. It gets "everything" and the price is reasonable enough that I switched to it from the Safeguard treatment. It is really nice not to have to worm three days in a row! I sure hope they stay in business for a LONG time!

I looked for the Interceptor and couldn't seem to find it. Am I looking in the wrong place. All the wormers seemed to get everything, but they weren't a heartworm preventative. Does Drontal plus prevent heartworms?

I'm confused. :???:

Interceptor is what I use on my dogs once they reach 16 weeks.

I ordered the "All Wormer" as well and have been very satisfied. Like everyone else, it arrived in 5 days and everything was in order.

James.........I dont think Drontal Plus or Droncit gets heartworms. I do know Interceptor will take care of everything, EXCEPT TAPEWORMS. We give our dogs Interceptor year around and then give them a Droncit every 2-3 months just to keep tapes out.

Hope this helps,
Randy
