My Boy made it home

Post by Catfish »

My son Josh got to come home last week from Iraq. He is all healed up from his injurys, and was glad to be home. I just wanted to say thank you to all the people that PM. me when he got hurt. He didn't have much time for me and the dogs. Well it's because he has a little hunny back here that's been needing to see him. Plus he is still a Teenager, so me and the dogs was not on top of his List. That's ok we had a pretty good time on Sunday.

For the People that still have Love one's over there, God Bless You, and God Bless The Men and Women of our Arm Forces. I just like to say that I'm Dam proud of my Son, and I Dam Proud of the Men and Women that our Still Serving Over Seas.

That is great that he is back. We have several at work that have sons and daughters in the war. Glad when they make it home.

And may I add:

"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem."

Let us resolve tonight that young Americans will always ... find there a city of hope in a country that is free.... And let us resolve they will say of our day and our generation, we did keep the faith with our God, that we did act worthy of ourselves, that we did protect and pass on lovingly that shining city on a hill." — Election Eve speech, Nov. 3, 1980
