Congrats Bill - an AWESOME litter - hope they ALL make it. My last litter - April 22/23 was only 4 pups - and only one survived - which was devastating. Best wishes 2 mom and YOU! GOOD LUCK!!

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My biggest litter has been "6" pups so far. Knock on wood I have not lost a pup in four litters, but I sleep next to the box for the first few nights and put little uns on teats, and near Mama in the middle of the night, and save pups that get rolled on. I swear my bitches can snore through more squealing than my husband sometimes. I am 100% convinced I would have lost a pup or two from most of my litters if I didn't watch out for them the first couple of nights when they are so small and Mama is so tired.

Here's a pic of Dolly with ten pups. This doesn't look so bad, but from behind she looked like she had a watermelon in there sideways, lol.

Here she is after the litter. All ten have her cornered - she had to sit up to nurse that bunch of hoodlums so they would all get a spigot, rotf!

Congrats on your new puppies!!!
