Since the nice weather has landed i thought it would be nice to reorganize my kennel layout. Last winter i had a little bit of trouble getting rid of the snow, so i moved the runs around and spaced them far enough apart so my snowblower can fit between each kennel. I also fenced my kennel in and put a gate across the front so when my kids go and feed the hounds or play with them I dont get lost dogs. They stay right in the fenced area. I also have a gate at the far end so when I let them out to run in my 4acre pen they can go right from kennel to the running grounds. Working out pretty good so far.
WEll thought out. I love the gate. Thanks for giving us food for thought on kennel planning. I am still working on one and that gives me new things to think about.
Expecting a carjacker or rapist or drug pusher to care that his possession or use of a gun is unlawful is like expecting a terrorist to care that his car bomb is taking up two parking spaces
That is a nice setup, shaded in the summer, and protected in the winter. I really like those above ground kennels too. You would spend a couple hours a day cleaning concrete, with all those dogs.
