Whats everyone using for puppy food since all the recalls??

Post by Aaron Bartlett »

I have always used Diamond puppy food and never had any issues but when they had the recall I quit using Diamond all together. Now we have another recall on several brands of dog food and other treats and im leary about trying something new but on the other hand I dont trust Diamond any farther than I can throw one of thier bags of feed! I have a couple litters on the way and will be needing some puppy food soon.
Just looking for something SAFE that the pups will do well on.

Forgot to mention that I also need it to be a brand that is half way easy to get. Im sure there are several of you that are going to list feeds like beaglehandler just listed. Im sure they are a good feed but im not driving 1-2 hours each way to buy puppy food! I looked on the websites for two brands that beaglehandler listed and the closest place to buy one was 1 1/2 hrs and the other was 2 hrs.

Black Gold Puppy for pups and dam. Dam looks like she never had pups at 5 days after whelping except for being bagged up. They eat it like its dessert!!!
