IF a dog is reg AKC or UKC, do you need a breed inspecter to sign the ARHA reg form??

well then what is goin on i sent my males papers off to get him ARHA reg and he is AKC and no one seen him and i got the ARHA papers back on him in about aweek or two and no breed inspector looked at him or signed off on him and i have a friend that did the same thing with an AKC reg male to get him ARHA reg just sent the papers in

It was always my understanding that ARHA would accept AKC "registration" without a breed inspector or photo, but if you wanted to enter your dog in an ARHA trial, it had to be seen and measured by a breed inspector until it received its ARHA registration.

The only real issue with the AKC beagles is the height. Of course, you competitors in the trials will handle that if your dog is over - LOL! I inspected a pup last Saturday that was 14 3/4 ALREADY (and still growing?). The owner is worried about him going over but I told him not to worry that his competition would not complain until he started winning!

i registered one a couple months ago.Called and they said to send a copy of akc papers with the application.That was good enough for them.
