I wouldn't want to live in town but the area around Morgantown is very nice, got cornerstone to run with and when you take a notion you can come to Braxton county and run with me.

i live in Morgantown. a redneck will fit in fine and there's good running around here or a short driving distance. if you move here look me up. a 3 mile drive from downtown Morgantown and you'll be in country. good luck

plus we have some good college sports here. when the football team plays at home the town shuts down and it's one big party.

well I think youll fit in just fine . morgantown is a small cluster as far as cities go . we call it a city around here but its a large town. they have a target walmart mall good resteraunts and your only 45 min from cabelas in wheeling. once you drive 10 min away from town you are back in the sticks. I live 45 min to the east in grantsville md its on 68. I would say if you want a good place to look for a house I would look in hazelton or bruceton mills. its a little drive to morgantown but ist in the country. house prices are lower. and if you look at the map in western md there is a lake called deep creek lake. it draws all the big money from baltimore and pittsburgh. so it drives house prices up. it hasnt hit bruceton mills and hazelton but its starting to so it might be a good investment. just my 2 cents if ya need any thing else let me know . And if you get out this way and wanna run with some poop eating patch hounds let me know.

are you moving due to work?

WV, much cheaper taxes, gun laws will still carry them in the back windows of our trucks.

i work in Pa and my co-workers complain about their taxes all the time. but get advise from others on this board.

I agree my sister lives in pa and complains about taxes but she works in morgantown at the hospital so you would have the same situation. md isnt any better.wv is the way to go. I work in wv and they dont have the bs md has. I wish we coud sell garrett co md to wv. and get rid of the lake  . anyways dont worry about the guns in wv , pa and western md.
