1996 to 1999 is along time ago Steve. That figure does not include how many players turned pro before earning a degree ( the whole purpose of going to school is to get a good job). How many Michigan players earned degrees during the Fab Five years? Don't be a hater because Michigan SUCKS!!!

Man ........ Those Michigan fans sure are desperate to Find a flaw in the OSU program. Even if it was a long time ago....... Next thing you know they'll be complaining about that High School in Akron, Ohio, St. Vincent & St. Mary. What a bad school. The best player in their school history never even made it to college.

(Lebron James for those beaglers that watch cartoons instead of sports

wow,now that is impressive, black shoes, wonder how long it took for them morrons to think of that one?

I'm not a Michigan nor OSU fan. I'm a fan of good basketball, football and rabbit dogs.
This post about the Fab Five reminds me of dog named
Cody's Sharp Jackson, son of Cody's Sharp Mikie. Both the Fab Five and Jackson accomplished great things. Accomplishments of their time matched by no other. However they were stripped on paper and paper alone, the
memories are still there. Regardless of the infractions they still made major accomplishments of their era. The memories will never be taken or erased, be it bitter or sweet.
Just my two cents, since I too paid taxes this year.

If memory serves me,that was a little problem for the "Fab Five"

Looks like the boy from Michigan should do his homework before he opens his big mouth and inserts foot again.

it could be worse ,you could be down here in ky licking your wounds 2and out in the sec, come on people when are we going to look towards florida and see what we missed out on,billy is staying put and i don't blame him ,maybe we could get travis ford ? we should have been recruiting ky boys to play for ky,like we used to how many more mr. basket ball of ky high schools do we have to let go to florida tenn. and anybody else is ready to grab them.richy farmer was from ky jr vanhoosewas from kyand were average college ball players with the desire to win and be able to hold there head up because they knew they were representing their home towns,i'll end with this there are three kinds of people, people who watch things happen, people who make things happen andpeople who wander ,what just happened?tubby smith may fit two of these categories, but certainly not the one that makes things happen(positive things)I have a positive attitude , i'm positive the tub needs dumped

This actually does hold quite a bit of water. There are many many rankings out there. This one is for undergraduate ACADEMICS. The U.S. News and World Report rankings are considered #1 and are regarded very highly.
The ranking of 19 & 24 that was mentioned previously really holds no water. The study may have included best lounge, most student activities, best cafeteria food, most on campus police, support of PETA and other no significant data points (God only knows). Let’s not start with how the world news portrays or distorts the true.
The thing that can not be denied is that when it comes to athletes, OSU does not care to tarnish there highly regarded reputation. Any convict, mental disordered, sub standard student, no intention to obtain degree athlete will be welcomed with open arms as long as "Beat Michigan" has a hope of coming true. It's just a shame

Are you saying Michigan only ever accepts exemplary individuals? Give me a break. There are plenty of problems in most, if not ALL division I football programs. It's unfortunate, but neither Ohio State nor Michigan are any different in this respect.
