Tritronics and the junk buckles

Do any of yall remember a few years ago when Tritronic's was selling the e-collars with the belt buckle type buckle?? I know several folks lost them and had to put the zip ties on them to help keep the collars on.
They went back to the H type buckles after that.
I had a collar come off of a dog a couple of years ago about a week after I bought the unit. They found it this past weekend but it had been burned in a control fire on the property. Did Tritronics ever replace any of the lost collars because of their collar design??
Anyone delt with this?

There must have been a deal on surplus crapola collars going around because Dogtra uses the same ones, half buckle style. Cost me a collar as well.

Put your e-collar in front toward the head of their regular collar and with a quick connector that scews together at the opening, fasten them together at the leash ring.
If you use chain collars like I do, when hooking together, put the chain inside the connector that is already permanently through the shock collars leash ring.
Both should not come loose at the same time. Several times a dog has come by me with the shock collar loose and flopping and still fastened to the chain. I also have a name tag on the collar in the loop at the back of the shocking device.
Hope this helps as they are too expensive to replace.

The smart thing to do, is attach the tracker to the shock collar! Never lose a shock collar again!

I took the dummy collar which had H buckle and remove it and put it on the shocking unit. Why the dummy had the good buckle and costly one had the sorry buckle puzzled me.
