Anyone out there ever owned or currently own a Remington 1100 in .410 bore? If so, I was curious how they patterned, overall reliablity, any jamming anomalies, etc.
Remington currently manufactures a Sporting 1100 in .410 bore and .28 gauge. They are really nice looking autos and I have considered procuring one in the future. Currently, I own an 1100 in .20 gauge with a black synthetic Speedfeed stock that is very reliable. I was wondering if the smaller calibers fed reliably as well?

Jonnyringo I have a 1100 .410 its a nice light gun to carry in the field. I shoot a 3in 6 shot full choke, I tend to miss more than I hit but thats ok. Nice tight little pattern and when the aim is true plenty of knockdown power. When I head south to the Louisa kentucky area to hunt with some family and friends I open the choke a little and aim a lot truer. Them kentucky boys will ride you all day if youre slinging more lead than rabbit in youre coat! Ive had no problems with jamming or any other mechanical features of the gun.

Glenford, Ohio - we're practically neighbors.
If you ever get an itch to sell that gun let me know. I have a few items that I would be willing to trade ranging from pistols, rifles, to shotguns.
Or, I would consider cash if the price is right.
PM me sometime - maybe we could run together this spring.

Good to hear from you stranger. How the heck you been?
I have an 11-87 20 myself. Almost too pretty to hunt with aren't they?
I like 20 but my pashion lately has been the 410. Probably just a phase. My problem is I like them all.
