He may be cold. They will need more water to help stay warm, and may be filling up on water so not eating as much..........

But could be lots of things

GET THAT DOG TO A VET RIGHT AWAY....THATS THE FIRST SIGN OF LIVER FAILURE. TOXINS CAUSE THIS FROM EITHER POISON OR BLOOD DISORDERS THAT HENDER REPRODUCTION OF PLATLETTS.......I CAUGHT MY DOG EARLY AND AFTER A BLOOD TRANSFUSION SHE IS FINE ITS BEEN A FEW YEARS AGO AND SHES FINE TODAY....DONT WAIT.....YOU'LL LOSE HER...HAVE YOUR VET DO A BLOOD SCAN........IF HE WONT DO A BLOOD SCAN FIND ANOTHER VET. iF SHE GETS REAL LATHARGIC AND SLOW MOVING GET HER TO THE VET QUICK.

I had a male that acted like that in kidney failure.
When a dog gets sick where it is not eating, not making waste, or not making water - it is time for a blood test.

Smell the breath, if it smells like ammonia, it's kidney failure!!!!!!!!!
Antibotics NOW!!!!!!!

I forgot about how bad the breath smelled when he was in kidney failure.
He smelled like he had already died days before he actually did.

I know all the respondence are all well intended, and are just trying help, per your request. But, do yourself and your dog a favor, take your dog to a licensed Vet, have it checked out , and take the guess work out of the equation.
here's a backyard opinion for you, "sometimes we can't see the forest because of the trees" as the saying goes. You, say he's in a heated dog house, maybe it's to hot, and he's thristy. See a Vet.

good luck
