Its COLD, reminder to add some bedding!

Temps have been in single digits here, dipping below 0 at night. I ran my male for 6 hours Wednesday evening and then had him out on the ice all day ice fishing Thursday.......Went to go run this morning and he looked awful cold when I got him from the kennel....shivering and not his usual vibrant self...I opted not to run, and brought him in the house in a pet carrier. He looked much better by the end of day and wanted out side.....

He has nice kennel that goes into my shed, and also has a heat plate that he sleeps on in his straw box.......Just a reminder to everyone to beef up the bedding for the dogs in this cold weather!

This will be the second night indoors for my hounds. I dragged my dog box into the kitchen and brought the gang inside. This am it was -8 on my way home from work at 2am and the wind was blowing. No way was I leaving them out there even if they have lots of straw and can get inside their boxes. To blasted COLD!

lost 2 pups today for temps outside brung them in 2 were doing real well the other was froze but had reflexes when you touched her i hit here with some nutrical checked a couple hrs later she is just sucking away. glad i didnt toss her.
