It looks like I may be moving to the Cincinnati Ohio area shortly, what is the running like in this area? Are there any beaglers on the board from this area as I will be looking for somewhere to run and some folks to run with? I will be lookin g for a house with some acreage in the West Chester area as I will be working at the Dell Computer plant there and my wife will be working at the childrens hospital in Cincinnati. Any help or hints are appreciated.

Hey, I'm in Jasonville, IN.... not exactly close to Cincinnati, but only 3 hours away. Probably see you at a field trial or something sometime. We'll have to get together and run!

Welcome to Cincinnati Ohio. West Chester is a Fast Growing City with a lot of new development and "BIG" new homes. Areas north and south west of West Chester are still farm land , with West Chester growing so fast you may need to look at land a little south and west toward Indiana.
Rabbit hunting in Ohio is good , But the Deer hunting is GREAT !

I went up to visit west chester about a month ago. My wife is in cincinnati today finishing her last interview. Things look very positive but we don't have a written offer for her yet. As soon as we get that the ball will roll fast. She will be at the Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical center in Cincinnati and I will still continue to work for Dell in nearby west Chester if all goes well. I'm just trying to see how it is going to work out for me and my extended family(dogs) LOL

I'm about an hour and a half east of Cinci. Got to love them Bengals even if they do have two left feet. Give me a jingle and come up and run when you get settled.

Big Dog you couldn't find a better time to move to Cincy, The Bengals are learning how to win The REDS have a new owner, and theres plenty of bunnys that you can run. The rabbit season runs to the end of Feb.
The West Chester area is a newer booming area with plenty of appeal and good property values. The Real estate market has slowed and its a real buyers market! This area has alot of subdivisions that merge with farm land. All the game gets squeezed in, and its a hunting honey hole. A good majority of land owners will let you hunt, If you knock and ask. The areas North are heavy farming, and are ideal Rabbit/Deer cover. We also get just enough snow to make it fun,and about time you get sick of it, its gone. We also have Giant Turkeys up here.
Have you loaded the truck yet? Let us know when your pulling in, W'ell try to send the welcome wagon. I live about 35 min. south of West Chester Gregg

Big Dog, I would think about east into Clermont or Brown county, just a little less crowded. Plenty of places to run out east. I'm just an hour east of Cincinnati in Adams Co.
