Anyone hunting in this area this weekend (1/6/07-1/7/07)? Or know of anyone that was? Some good friends had some dogs picked up, they had tracking collars on, and had them on the receiver. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

wish u guys luck. there has to be a better way to handle this BS. i caught a guy walking out of the woods one time with my hound under his arm. so i turn the collar all the up and light her up. i heard the man screaming more then the dog. and that was the last time she let a stranger pick her up. wonder how the chips transplanted in the ear work for cost and how affected they are ?

Hi Paul,
I have some friends that have beagles down in Houghton Lake. I'll give them a call tonight and ask them to keep their eyes and ears open. Did you try calling the shelter in Roscommon too? I doubt they are there, but you never know what some of the crazies out there will do.

Thanks Paul for the quick post and Vickie for offering to call her friends. Got a call about 10am and our friends wife went up and recovered the hounds. Thanks again ...

Great! I was going to tell you I had an extra pen and houses if you were very far away, where they could stay for a few days. I'm glad you found them!!!!!
