A general forum for the discussion of hunting with beagles, guns, clothing and other equipment and just talking dawgs! (Tall tales on hunting allowed, but remember, first liar doesn't stand a chance)
They might not be beagles but when I am done with with them they will hold there own in the pack. (If nothing else, these two girls are fun to just hang out with.)
Happy BASSETING...............uhmm I mean BEAGLING
Jeremy, Nice looking hounds...who did you get the bitches from?
bill (flint river)...no offense but...Bassets come in alot of speeds...compared to the speed of beagles ...we neither have large park or walkie talkie speed...just everything inbetween
My name is Tommy Oliver. I am from Lebanon Tn.. I own a big red male hound named Little Joe Cartwright. I am very intrested in crossing him with a solid good Basset rabbit machine. Your two bitches look as if they would fit the bill if they turn out well. Looking to have a litter of real rabbit machines. If you could see Little Joe you would know what I am talking about. I once owned a Bassett bitch. She was the real deal. They are a joy to hunt with. Your two are just beautiful. Would be intrested in leasing one of the two for the litter. E-Mail me at spidersgrayrock@yahoo.com If you are intrested, if not do it any way. Would like to talk about Bassets with you. Thanks
Thanks for all the good words. It always make you feel good to hear nice things about your dogs.
I got these two from Anthony Schmidt in Falmouth, Ky. Tib-bar lines. They are only about 6 months old. Showing alot of potential. Both parents are fine hounds, shouldn't have much trouble with them.
Sally-
I was hoping no one would notice that but since you brought it up, If any one finds a pair of hound dog legs in the woods I would like them to be returned promptly.
