Seems like all I hear are the negative about people.I would like to present the other side.I tried a dog from Robert Hatfield.A very honest and upfront kind of guy. I took the dog on trial.He said if not what you are looking for then I will refund your money. Robert refunded my money.I in turn gave him $50 for his trouble and time lost trying to accommodate me.No fuzz no harsh words.I look forward to dealing with him in the future.I made a friend and he invited me up to hunt with him.I treated him with honesty and respect he did the same towards me and I appreciate it.

If Robert Hatfield is honest, then I am Dolly Parton.

I don't know him from Adam BUT at least I can say that he entered into a deal and gave the fella his money back. At least he held the earnest money and didn't spend it. That's a heck of a lot better than some folks on here. I wonder what the time limit of the trial was?

well id like to share a similar story then guys alot of you may no this guy. Hearld Dalton from tn very nice man gave me a 30 day trial on a dog once completely honist about the dog right down to his faults just wasn't the dog for me. Id recomend hearld to anyone. Don't know if you rember me Hearld but thanks alot. Joey from kentucky

Don't go to Rufus' pen, my flatlander dogs haven't recovered yet, one fell from the top of his pen and he fell for 30 minutes, on the way home he told me he didn't want to go back anymore! LOL dboman

Hatfield,you have so much to learn.First,never tell a hounds faults.Repeat after me...he never did that before.Second,trial periods are just to get the dog down the road,once the money is in your hand its yours.No wonder I heard you say once that you can't sell a dog.

Hatfield is pretty honest fella all the way thru, He was good enuff this summer to take me to a farm , i have never been too. Granted it was pretty big place and it was dark right after we got there , but i lost my transmitter in head high weeds , so there we go looking for it. I ventured one way why he the other . I never managed to find it but i did managed to get lost on the back side of it. After not having any type of light or distress signal about a hour later i begin to faintly hear dogs probaly 3 miles away . As i set out in high head weeds to find my way out of the god forsaken forrest from hell i lucked up on the hounds as well as hatfield . To his response "Where ya been Jimbo"? My buddy , ps he found my transmitter so yea hes as pretty honest guy. Moral of story -
Dont drink coors lights on strange farms with no flashlight. Lol

GOOD GRIEF !!!!! IS THIS THE SAME HATFIELD THAT WAS ON SWINGS BOARD. I WOULD NEVER EXPECTED HIM TO BE HONEST. I THINK BY HIS POST TO CRABTREE THAT MUST BE HIM.

Good that they're honest people out there. We all know of a person who isn't. But anyway we all know not to buy a dog from him.

The dog he sold was at puppy price. It was exactly what Hatfield said it was GREEN. She has nice hunt and is started well.She just wasnt a $500 dog. I dont know what people expect for $200.

i believe i may know who you are talking about not buying from.

i am not going to mention names and i would appreciate it if the moderator will not delete this post like the other ones that have been in defense of a certain person.

a guy i know listed a dog for sale in this forrum a couple weeks ago or so,a man from ky called about the dog saying he wanted to buy her,well my friend told this guy that he had not ran her for a while and she would be mouthy until she is ran up,the man from ky agreed to run her for TWO WEEKS,and if he was not happy with her AT THE END of TWO WEEKS,he could bring her back.my friend even said ,do not waste my time if you are not going to run her first,and the guy from ky agreed to these stipulations.
well the next day we where leaving to go to a hunt in so.central ky,the guy from ky called and said he did not want her cause she was mouthy.they discussed the agreement but the guy from ky said he had found a male he wanted and wanted his money back.my friend said that was not the deal,but the guy was dead set he did not want her,he wanted a male he had found.my friend said when he got back from the hunt he would deal with it.
well we got stuck in ky longer than planned,he had to pay for food,motel ect,for three people,then when he got back he had other financial problems arise,meanwhile the guy from ky still wanted his money back and my friend said he could give it to him at the end of the week when he got paid.
well,the guy from ky was not happy with that and said he would just sale her,so he listed the dog,went into detail on who he had got her from,then everyone started badmouthing my friend.he even went online and said he would give the money back and the ky guy refused it.and now everyone has another reason to hate and badmouth my freind.
now another thing that people don't know is that the guy from ky also agreed to breed the female back to my buddies male dog and give him 2 pups because he had lowered the price $100.00.now the female was traded to a guy in ky,who said she came out of being mouthy after he ran he a little and said she was not as bad as the guy from ky had let on.
now was he advised on the deal on the breadings?NO!

i was present for two phone conversations,and i was with him when the dog was delivered.

i do not feal anyone was cheated,people are judging others too quick without getting the full story,now you have the full story,you all know who my friend is and i go to hunts with him so you can feel free to ask me any questions if you want then.this forrum was not designed to destroy peoples reputations and it was not designed to make enemies but clearly it has.
none of you mentioned names and i have not either so i hope this will not be deleted cause this needs cleared up.threats have been made against my buddy over this and i find that outrageous.he has not and will not cheat people,he has no reason to.

maybe someone had missunderstood the agreement or something,but he offered the money back,what more could he had done?
