There was some talk awhile ago on this board (I think this one) about using Bayer tree & shrub for flea treatment. Have the ones that have been using it for a while now getting good results, any problems, and what dosage are you using. I am going to use it if the results your getting are favorable.

Thanks Ringtail, Got some the other day, haven't used it yet. On their belly, I thought it went on thier back, but I guess it dosn't matter, but dosen't it get licked off? Also does it work by being absorbed into the skin then into the blood and then the fleas are killed by ingesting the blood?

I have been using 1 cc on the back. More than that would be hard to apply as it is thick and would mat the hair. Supposedly, the topicals are distributed OVER the skin by the natural oils on the skin. I HOPE the concentration in the blood is very low! No notable health issues yet but only time will tell on many chemical exposures.
