ME and a friend but a game cam on the deer carcass that was covered in grass and this is what we caught. Looks like there is mountain lion in East Texas, but no big foot!

I said bobcat, but didn't think of mt. lion because we don't have them around here.
Pretty cool to get a pic, I'd like to see some better ones.

What part of East Texas are you in. I hunt in Centerville and there is a guy that raises big cats not far from our lease.

Geeze Walter, you better find a new lease. A beagle wouldn't be much of a meal for a big cat but several beagles might fill him up. We're getting a lot of the big cats moving in down here and the ranchers are getting nervous. Might have to get back in the big hounds again afterall. Hope all is going well with you.

Walter I live in center TX close to toledobend lake.I've seen this cat twice on my place over the last 5 years but no one believed me.I had one of Treedogs beagles runnin loose on my place the weekend I took these pictures and it came up missin for two days.I was begining to think the cat got her but she turned up at a neighbors house.

If you look close that cat has a collar on it .
