Can anyone tell me how is the hunting thier this year. I am planning on going in Jan. Just wonder how is the population around southern Iowa near the Missouri border.

any where ive been this year rabbit populations have been great, roadside spottings have been normal for me in southern iowa i live in wayne county so i think youll be in for some great hunting depending on how the weather is this december....

How well can you do on state land, Ive been thinking about going out there next year, and dont know anyone, so I plan on hunting on state land in the bott s-east?

i personally never have hunted much state land for rabbits but if i had to guess id say it be good ground, if its to thick to see through it then its probably good rabbit hunting
